The main mission of our group is friendship and having fun with friends and our greyhounds. Promoting responsible and loving greyhound adoption is also very important to us. So many retired greyhounds need homes. HGCOF has begun working with Halfway Home Greyhound Adoption in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Halfway Home not only adopts out greyhounds in Oklahoma and Kansas, they also organize hauls to move the dogs to adoption groups in other parts of the country. HGCOF members go to farms in Kansas to pick up dogs, foster and arrange transportation to Tulsa for adoption or haul. It costs $100. to put one dog on a haul. Fundraising is an ongoing task to send these wonderful dogs to their loving forever homes.
