News From Rusty in Canada

Our honorary Circle of Friends Canadian member sent some news from the great white north today. He and his mom took a stroll in the cold weather down to the harbor. That lucky dog lives right on the ocean. As you will see in the photos there are high banks along the water. I'll let Rusty tell his story of the adventure.

The sun is bright but it's still pretty cold here in the East. But
nothing gets in the way of a good game of frisbee, even in the
snow. And yes, that's pack ice floating through the bay.

Sometimes there isn't too much pack ice and other times there's,
well, PACKS of it!

Of course, after I've had my secret snacks on the beach I can
always count on getting a nice cool chunk of ice to gnaw on. Yummy!

These are our eagles (we have two) and this is their nest. Because
of the eagles, I don't have very many squirrels to chase.

Mum likes to spend her time collecting sea glass along the beach.

Me, I just like picking up nice smells and running in the sand. I
LOVE beach-running!

Love,
Rusty
